Biography
Andrew is an actor/facilitator and Artistic Director of Melbourne Playback Theatre Company, a company that brings to life the shared stories of its audiences. A freelance performer, Andrew has recently performed in “Fireface” (VCA Master’s Project), Heiner Muller’s “Quartet” (Jay Studios), Talya Chalef’s “Eyton Road” (La Mama and Cape Town Arts Festival) and was nominated for a Green Room Award for his performance as Peter in “All My Sleep and Waking” (2008).
 
Andrew has recently directed “Three Dog Night” at 45 Downstairs & Adelaide Festival Centre, “The Winterling” for Red Stitch Theatre Company, “Blackrock” for the VCA Foundation’s Program and “La Musica”, as his post graduate piece at the VCA. He has been touring “Spin Out” for the Victorian Arts Centre and working as a guest artist with the Melbourne Theatre Company’s Education Program.
 
Andrew originally trained as an actor at the Victorian College of the Arts and has studied at the Michael Howard Acting Studio in New York and with Ruth Zaporah’s Action Theatre in Berkeley, California.
